Monster Hunter Stories 2 will be released on two platforms around the second week of July. Potentially, players can buy the title on both platforms and expect a crossplay or crosssave feature soon. Will Monster Hunter Stories 2 have these platform crossing features?
As of now, Capcom has yet to confirm if there will be CrossSave or Crossplay features in between the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Nintendo Switch and PC versions. Both of these features are popular for many Nintendo Switch titles due to the portability of the console.
For now, we’ll have to wait for more announcements from Capcom to see if we’ll see these platform crossing features for Monster Hunter Stories 2 soon.

Even without the CrossSave and Crossplay features, Monster Hunter Stories has one transferrable content confirmed officially. Before the game’s release, players can try out the demo and carry over their progress on their copy once it’s released.
More than transferring their progress, Capcom will reward the player with a Kinship Talisman. The talisman is said to provide access to the Master Mounter and Wide-Range skills to the players.
Similar to previous Monster Hunter releases on the latest consoles, the talisman could be an accessory equipment item which is designed to provide players with an early boost. As players progress, this item could be replaced with items with significantly better stats.
As of now, Capcom has yet to implement cross feature on any of its recent games. Monster Hunter World did not have a crosssave feature between the consoles and its PC version. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Rise is confirmed to not have a cross-platform feature in between its Nintendo Switch and PC version.
The game will have co-op and versus modes for its multiplayer but Capcom has yet to confirm if it’ll allow Nintendo Switch to PC version connections. We’ll have to wait for more announcements about the game if this situation will change any time soon.
