The Butt-Flattering Pants I Wear Non-Stop Are $84 at Spanx

Oops, I did it again. No, I’m not talking about indulging in too much food over the holidays (because that’s a given!!), nor am I talking about spending too much money on end-of-season sales, because hey, that’s also a given. Instead, I’m talking about the fact that I reached for one particular pair of pants (again) for my three-hour flight from New York City to Minnesota. Funnily enough, they’re also the only pants I packed for this trip, and thus, the only ones I’ve worn the past week. Oops, but not really, because they really are perfect.

If you said, “Eva, I know you wore your Perfect Pants from Spanx,” you’re right. You clearly know me so well, and you’ve obviously read my past stories where I’ve waxed poetic about the bottoms that happen to be my best-kept style secret (aka, bottoms that look like trousers but feel like sweatpants, so even though I look very refined when wearing them, I’m as comfortable as can be, and that’s my little secret). Shh.

The pants are set to be your go-tos, as well, and right now, they’re the cheapest I’ve seen them all year (*jaw drop*). So yes, it’s high-time you scoop up a pair. During Spanx’s end-of-season sale, you can snag the $168 pants for a reasonable $84 — 50 percent off the original price, and when I say I haven’t seen such steep savings on what are certainly among Spanx’s most famous pants, which Oprah once deemed her favorites, too, I’m not lying. And trust me — I know these pants like the back of my hand.

Spanx the Perfect Pants, Wide Leg

The Spanx pants are perfect, so much so they’re definitely deserving of the “Perfect” in their name. They’re made from a high-quality ponte fabric that looks so luxe and feels so comfy. It’s thick, so you can easily wear the bottoms in the wintertime, but not too thick that you’d break a sweat if you wear them in the summer. I reach for them year-round, and especially so when I travel because I can actually sit in them for hours on end without feeling constricted or uncomfortable.

They’re also incredibly flattering, thanks to the material with hidden butt-lifting powers and tummy control that’s always a welcomed bonus (and a Spanx classic, given the brand is known for its shapewear). They have an easy pull-on silhouette without zippers or buttons that only tend to get in the way, and they’re machine washable, which means no need to dry clean. I’ve worn mine too many times to count, and thus, washed them quite often, but they’ve held up their shape and still fit as good as they did when I first got them.

So yes, these pants are perfect, and yes, I’m adding yet another pair to my closet while they’re just $84 during Spanx’s year-end sale. Shop the Perfect Pants in three winter-perfect colors before they all sell out, as well as other on-sale bottoms from Spanx's epic savings event.
